BP raises its stake in Tangguh LNG (Indonesia) to 40.2%
Spanish energy group Repsol has sold its 3.06% stake in Tangguh LNG in
Indonesia to its partner BP for US$313m. BP, the operator of the
liquefaction plant, will now own 40.22% in Tangguh LNG, in partnership with
Mitsubishi-Inpex (MI Berau, 16.3%), CNOOC (13.9%), Nippon Oil (12.23%), KG
(10%) and LNG Japan (7.35%).
The Tangguh LNG plant was commissioned in 2009 and consists of two

investment decision on an US$8bn expansion, adding a third 3.8 Mt/year train
