Vietnam: Selecting EPC contractor for Trung Nam Wind Power Project

Trung Nam Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (Trung Nam Group) and
Trung Nam Wind Power Joint Stock Company have signed EPC contract for wind
power project in Ninh Thuan province. The EPC package for construction and
installation of the project also has been signed. The equipment suppliers
for the project are Green Comos (India) and ENERCON Group (Germany).

Trung Nam power project with a capacity of 90 – 100 MW (around 286 million
kWh per year) and a total investment of 3,965 billion VND was started for
construction on an area of 900 ha at August 27, 2016. The project is divided
into two phases with an expectation that phase number one will be completed
in the third quarter of 2018 and phase number two – in the second quarter of
2019.

Besides, Trung Nam Group also carried out to study and survey feasibility of
solar PV project integrated on 900 ha of Trung Nam wind farm.

As planned, Trung Nam Group will develop a solar PV project with a capacity
ò 515 MW in Ninh Thuan province. Therefore, in this occasion, Trung Nam
Group also signed with Syntegra Solar International AG (Switzerland) a
contract package for " Consulting and managing solar PV projects".
