Proposing to put the solar PV project in Chau Duc Industrial Zone to the
National Power Development Planning

The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has just sent an
official document to ask the General Department of Energy (GDE), Ministry of
Industry and Trade to appraise and submit for Prime Minister's approval
supplementing 100MW solar PV project in Chau Duc Industrial Zone into
National Power Development Planning.

The Chau Duc solar PV project is invested by Halla E&C company and Hyosung
Group (S. Korea) has a total investment of more than 1,858 billion VND.

The project includes the poly-crystal solar PV panels, DC-AC converters,
transformer substation and electricity line for transmitting power to the
national power system. The area that the project will occupy, anticipates
about 60 ha in Chau Duc Industrial Zone, Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung
Tau province. The official location will be considered and decided by
competent level when establishing the investment project.

The first stage of the project expects to be completed in December of 2018.
