Memorandum on development of Quang Tri 2 Thermal Power Project

A Memorandum on cooperation for developing Quang Tri 2 Thermal Power Project
(TPP) just has been signed between Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee
(PPC) and Western Korea Electricity Limited Co. (KOWEPO).

Mr. Nguyen Quan Chinh, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri PPC had a working meeting
with a mission of KOWEPO headed by Mr. Jeong Yung Chul, Deputy Executive
General Director.

At the meeting, there was signing a Memorandum on cooperation for developing
Quang Tri 2 TPP, in which both sides agreed to cooperate and support each
other in relevant activities for the project implementation. The location of
the project is expected next to My Thuy port in the Southeast Economic Zone
of Quang Tri province.

Quang Tri PPC will exert itself to support KOWEPO to facilitate the Quang
Tri 2 TPP to be added to the list of the National Power Planning.

For its part, the KOWEPO will try the best to complete the Investment
Proposal Report, Overall Land Plan and necessary documents for project to be
added to the National Power Planning.
