Thailand: Asia Green Energy eyes 30% growth

Asia Green Energy targets revenue growth of up to 30 per cent this year
thanks to strong demand for the use of coal in the cement industry and
exports to China, chief executive officer Panom Kuansataporn said in a press
release on Monday.

The listed company expects exports to account for 30 per cent of total sales
value this year, against 20 per cent last year, by focusing on China,
Vietnam and India, all of which have strong demand for coal, he said.

Last year, the company reported overall revenue of Bt4.66 billion and a net
profit of Bt153.66 million, according to a report filed to the Stock
Exchange of Thailand.
