Laos: Possible Solar Power Project to be Explored in Pak Kading

Bolikhamxay province allowed the Convert Energy Company to conduct possible
study on the feasibility of constructing of a solar power project on 150 ha
in Namdeua village, Pak Kading district.

A memorandum of understanding to gather data and conduct a study for the
solar power farm, was held last week in Paksan district between the
Secretary of the Governor of Bolikhamxay province, Mr Kongkeo Xaysongkham,
the President of Convert Energy Company, Mr. Haley Achuthan and related
parties.

The solar power project comes under Convert Energy Company's construction
plans on renewable energy in line with the government's policy.

The company's investment survey is expected to take approximately six
months.
