Vietnam: Admitting the first oil flow from White Rabbit Field

On March 01, 2017 at the Well 37P of the White Rabbit Field, Tam Dao 05
Drilling Rig gave the first oil flow.

White Rabbit Field is located at Lot 09-01 on the southern continental shelf
in 145 km from Vung Tau city by southeast direction. After about 5 month
construction, Tam Dao rig 05 project has been completed and given the first
oil flow.

Tam Dao 05 self-lifting rig invested by Vietsopetro and contracted PV
Shipyard is a national focusing mechanical project. This is a largest
self-lifting rig designed and made by Vietnam itseld so far. The project has
been designed in accordance with the most modern pattern JU-2000E of USA
Friede & Goldman company.

Tam Dao 05 rig has 18 thousand ton weight, 167m stem length and 2,995 ton
load capacity. This is a project with complicated technology and large
constructing lolume (1.5 times volume of the first rig - Tam Dao 03).

Tam Dao 05 rig has been designed for working at the sea water depth of 120m,
with abilit to drill up to the depth of 9,000m; withstand extreme weather
conditions, wind strength of over 12 level and wave height of 22m. The price
of the rig is $230 million.
