Vietnam: Korea will develop a 300 MW Solar Power Project in Bac Lieu

Korean SY Group has signed MOU with Bac Lieu province on cooperation to
develop a 300 MW Solar Power Project (SPP) on an area of 400 ha in Long Dien
Dong commune, Dong Hai district, Bac Lieu province.

SY Group will invest more than 10,242 billion VND for project development
within over two years, from now to June of 2019. The development of the
largest in Vietnam so far SPP is divided into the two stages.

The project will contribute to the socio-economic development of Bac Lieu
province and supplying renewable clean energy for the country.

Mr. Duong Thanh Trung, the Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's
Committee said, the leadership of Bac Lieu province will create all
favorable conditions for SY Group to implement the project.

The province also asks SY group to implement the project promptly and on
schedule after obtaining the investment license.
